These freeze-dried wild blueberries grown in Estonia (using the Canadian blueberry variety Vaccinium angustifolium) are a delightful addition to your snack shelf and are perfect for gifting to a friend, taking on trips, or offering to children as a healthier alternative to candy. This is a nice snack that tastes very sweet – much sweeter than freeze-dried Estonian wild blueberries, because the natural sugar content of the vaccinium angustifolium blueberry variety is much higher than that of the vaccinium myrtillusvariety grown in Estonia.  Freeze-dried berries absorb moisture in the air very quickly, so for the best flavour, we recommend eating freeze-dried blueberries the same day after opening, or sealing the package carefully and airtight.
